یک ولو پوزیشنر (Valve Positioner) رابط میان ولو و سیستم فرمان (نیوماتیکی یا الکترونیکی است. در واقع وسیله‌‌ای است که در ارتباط با شیر کنترل و جهت تنظیم آن نصب می‌شود. در حقیقت یک سرو مکانیزم است و از طرفی یک رله تقویت کننده است که فرمان صادره از کنترل کننده را تقویت کرده و به عمل کننده (محرک یا actuator) منتقل می‌کند.
